"I just want to express my gratitude towards Burkholder's Heating and air conditioning service and share an experience that i recently had.
My air conditioning unit was not working so I called another major air conditioning company. When they came, they told me that a wire was burned out. It was replaced and 10 minutes later, I was charged $84 and was told that the work was not guaranteed. Needless to say, 5 days later I phoned to tell them my air conditioner once again, was not working. The serviceman came and told me that I needed a new compressor and it would cost approximately $1,200.00! He then charged me an additional $54 for this incorrect bit of wisdom.
This is when I called Burkholder Heating and air conditioning in Emmaus for a second opinion. A fellow named David came promptly to my home to assess the situation. I explained my past experience with the other company. He said a wire had been disconnected and another wire was burned out. He replaced the wire and magically the compressor started right up! When I asked him what the charge was, he smiled and said just call me if you have any other problems with it!
Now I know who to call for any of my future heating and cooling concerns. Thank you Burkholder and a special thanks to David for being an honest and caring professional. It's no wonder why you've been in business for 40 years!"
